At first, they feared he wasn’t alive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThankfully, he was.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe was frightened, unsure, and had no idea what was happening — but from that moment forward, his life began to change. The wonderful team at Animal Friends of the Valley cared for him, loved him, and kept him safe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTen days later, Cal became a Mission Bay Puppy Rescue puppy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen we first picked him up at the shelter and held him, his little body trembled and shook. He was scared and uncertain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut then we brought him home.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe introduced him to the Pack, gave him a warm bath, lots of love…and suddenly, everything changed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCal relaxed almost immediately. He started playing with the other puppies, soaking up affection, exploring his new surroundings and acting as though nothing bad had ever happened to him.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat a difference love, safety and a few puppy friends can make.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCal is the sweetest little boy. He is affectionate, playful, curious and absolutely loving all the attention he is getting.
