MY STORY:
Bessie’s journey is one of hope and transformation. She and her brother (now happily adopted) were found starving and alone in an abandoned house. Thanks to our rescue partners in Bakersfield, Bessie is now safe, thriving, and ready to find her forever home. This little sweetheart has stolen our hearts with her gentle and affectionate nature. She gets along wonderfully with all the other dogs, from playful puppies to older companions. Bessie is easygoing, cuddly, and loves soaking up the sun on the lawn for a cozy winter nap. She’s also quite fond of her adorable little sweater, which makes her even more endearing. As Bessie is a pit mix, we will be very selective in finding her the perfect forever home.
