MY STORY:
We love Curtis!!!!! What a joy this dog is, sweet, gentle, curious, playful, gets along with others. What more could you ask. Oh and he is the perfect size at just 45 lbs. Did I mention he has the softest fur ever? He does. Curtis has been hanging out at the rescue with our dogs and is doing so well. Coming to us a few months ago Curtis was shy and very scared. He spent almost 2 months with our amazing fosters on their ranch, he hung out with 3 awesome family dogs and horses. He learned that the world was not a bad place and that he could over come his fears (like grocery bags... not a problem any more). He loves being outside and exploring, playing with the other dogs at the rescue is top on his "this makes me happy list". He is curious about the little pups and has been very gentle. He is not an alpha dog and will do well with both male and female dogs. He also likes horses. He would love ranch life, but would be happy being with a family who just wants to spoil him. He is also learning that Kids are cool, but we recommend a slow gentle introduction. He is one of those... "I wish I could keep this one kind of dog" (don't get me wrong I'd love to keep them all but some are just a little extra special).
