Meet Miss Roo This tiny little Australian Shepherd (possibly a mini) was found cold, sick, and alone in an alley by a Good Samaritan. She was taken to SDHS, and from there she came straight into our care. Miss Roo is only about 5 weeks old and has had a rough start to life. She tested positive for: • Canine Coronavirus • Coccidia • Severe malnourishment • Hypothermia The first few days were rocky. She has needed 24-hour care from one of our incredible fosters, along with fluids, medications, warmth, and constant monitoring. Slowly but surely, she is beginning to perk up—but she is not out of the woods yet. This sweet little girl has already shown us how strong she is. And once she’s healthy, grown, and spayed, she will be ready to meet her forever family—who, like us, will fall in love with her instantly.
