Keeley

Meet Keeley & Roy!

Two beautiful, fluffy, 8-week-old Great Pyrenees puppies with big personalities and even bigger hearts! ❤️

These sweet babies have quite a story.

Their mama and daddy were left behind on a ranch in Yuma when their owners moved away. Thankfully, neighboring ranchers stepped in to look after them, and one ranch in particular has become their safe haven.

Although Mama and Daddy are still quite wary of people, they have a community looking out for them. Efforts to safely catch them and have them spayed and neutered have been unsuccessful so far, but the ranchers haven't given up!

This is Mama's third litter, and Mission Bay Puppy Rescue has had the privilege of welcoming her previous babies into our rescue. Now, two more little blessings have made their way to us!

And oh my goodness, are these two SPECIAL!

Keeley & Roy are incredibly affectionate, playful, and full of love. They adore romping around with the other dogs, soaking up attention, and are already doing wonderfully with potty training!

A little about Great Pyrenees:

These magnificent dogs were originally bred to protect livestock, and while they're gentle, devoted, and wonderfully loving, they aren't your average fluffy couch potatoes!

Great Pyrenees are:

Loyal, affectionate, and protective of their families.

Intelligent, independent thinkers who appreciate patient, consistent training.

Naturally watchful, with strong guarding instincts — and yes, they often have something to say, especially at night!

Large dogs who need secure fencing, space to explore, and a family that understands their instincts.

Famous for their gorgeous coats, which require regular brushing.

While they may look like adorable little polar bears today, these babies will grow into very large dogs, potentially weighing 85–120 pounds or more!

We're looking for families who appreciate everything that makes this breed so special and are prepared to give them the guidance, companionship, and lifelong commitment they deserve.

Two beautiful babies, a fresh start, and a whole lot of love waiting to happen.
