Shelia
Meet Shelia — Our Little Aussie Firecracker Approx. 10 weeks old | Possibly Purebred Australian Shepherd This stunning girl is Shelia — named after the Aussie slang for “girl” — because we think she might just be a purebred Australian Shepherd. Shelia was abandoned, but thankfully, the San Diego Humane Society kept her safe until we could bring her into our care. Now she’s healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home! Aussies are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and energy — and Shelia is no exception. She's playful, alert, and already starting to show signs of that classic Aussie brain. This breed thrives with active families who enjoy outdoor adventures, mental stimulation, and a dog who wants to be by your side all day long. Ideal Home for Shelia: A family or individual with time to train and bond A home where she'll get plenty of exercise (hikes, games, brain puzzles) A yard to stretch those speedy little legs would be a bonus Another playful dog sibling is a plus, but not required Someone who understands or is willing to learn about herding breeds Shelia is sweet, social, and soaking up love like a sponge. She’ll make a fantastic lifelong companion for the right person or family — one who’s ready for a smart pup who’ll keep you on your toes and steal your heart. Apply to meet her — this little Shelia won’t be available for long!
