Dottie
Meet Dottie! This sweet girl was found abandoned by Hwy 76, hungry and in need of love. Despite her rough start, her resilience and loving nature quickly shone through. While my parents initially planned to adopt her, they realized they couldn’t provide the time and training she needed. So, my husband and I stepped in to help her through her puppy phase.
Dottie has made great strides in potty training, leash training, and socialization. She’s playful, loving, and full of energy. She adores fetching squeaky balls, picking up sticks, and engaging in tug-of-war. While she loves her food, she’s learning to eat calmly and does best when left alone during mealtime.
She’s great with kids, enjoys playtime, and always brings smiles with her goofy habits—like splashing water everywhere when she drinks! Baths aren’t her favorite, but she’s calm with a pitcher instead of running water.
Dottie is improving with crate training and gaining confidence when left alone. Since my parents can no longer take her in, we’re seeking a loving home ready to give her the attention, playtime, and patience she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic, and fun companion, Dottie might be the perfect fit!
