MY STORY:
Autumn and her 5 pups were stays and taken to the Kern County Animal Services where they are so overwhelmed with dogs, pups and mama's they do the best they can with their limited resources. Autumn was in their care for 8 days when we were contacted. Arriving at our rescue she was malnourished, loaded with tics and scared. We bathed her pups and pulled tics from them and give Autumn what was probably her first bath ever. Her skin is very sensitive and the tics caused many wounds on her back and neck. We will be taking her to the vet today to check for tic born illnesses. She will be getting top quality BilJac food, calcium, vitamins and probiotics to help her gain new strength continue to produce milk and begin to thrive in a new safe home. We believe her pups are 2 weeks old. They all seem to be doing very well. Welcome home sweet mama... your life will be much better now.
