MY STORY:
Found dumped on the side of the road this litter of 5 and their sweet mama were taken to the Kern County Shelter who reached out to Mission Bay Puppy Rescue for help. We are happy that we had the room to take them in. They were 3.5 weeks and just starting to wean from their mama. There sweet mama cared for her pups so well but she was not in great shape. She arrived to us covered in huge ticks, malnourished, underweight and sick. We rushed her to the vet who said for the sake of her health she needed to stop nursing, this meant that she needed to be with a foster who could begin caring for her one to one. HERE IS THE BEST NEWS! With in 48 hours of her arriving to our rescue she was adopted by the most lovely woman who just instantly fell in love with her. Autumn will continue to recover and be so well loved. Her litter is gaining weight, playing and having fun. We believe that they are a mix of cattle dog and a bunch of other breeds that make a 100% awesome doggie.
